Responsible Gaming
Introduction
At Mystake, we believe that gambling should be enjoyed as a form of entertainment only, never as a way to earn money or solve financial problems. If you find yourself gambling to make money or recover losses, it's time to seek help. Gambling carries risk, and the house always has an edge. Play within your means and only spend what you can afford to lose.
Age Verification
Mystake is strictly for players aged 18 years or older (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction). We take age verification seriously and reserve the right to request proof of identity and age at any time. Underage gambling is illegal and harmful.
By accessing Mystake, you confirm that you are of legal gambling age in your country of residence.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can develop gradually. If you recognise any of these warning signs, please seek help immediately:
- Chasing losses by gambling more to recover money you've lost
- Hiding your gambling activity from family, friends, or partners
- Gambling with money intended for bills, rent, or essential expenses
- Feeling anxious or irritable when unable to gamble
- Needing to gamble with larger amounts to achieve the same excitement
- Lying about how much time or money you spend gambling
- Borrowing money to fund gambling activities
- Neglecting work, school, hobbies, or relationships due to gambling
- Failed attempts to cut back or stop gambling
- Using gambling to escape problems, stress, or negative emotions
If you've noticed any of these signs in yourself or someone you know, professional support is available and seeking help is a sign of strength.
Self-Help Tools
Mystake offers several built-in tools to help you maintain control of your gambling:
- Deposit Limits: Set a maximum amount you can deposit within a specified timeframe (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once reached, you cannot deposit further until the period resets.
- Loss Limits: Set a maximum amount you're willing to lose in a given period. When reached, your account will be temporarily restricted from further play.
- Reality Checks: Receive regular reminders during your gaming session about how much time and money you've spent. These help you stay aware and in control.
- Self-Exclusion: Temporarily or permanently close your Mystake account if you need a break from gambling. During self-exclusion, you cannot access your account, place bets, or make deposits. Once activated, self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends.
- Time-Out: Take a short break from gambling (typically 24 hours to several weeks) without permanently closing your account.
To access these tools, log into your Mystake account and visit the "Responsible Gaming" or "Account Settings" section. We encourage all players to use these features proactively.
